Srimad Bhagavatha Sapthaham

Srimad Bhagavatha Sapthaham
The Srimad Bhagavatam Sapthaham is a sacred seven-day spiritual discourse that glorifies the divine leelas and teachings of Lord Mahavishnu. It is one of the most revered traditions in Sanatana Dharma, known for its power to purify the mind, uplift the soul, and bring divine grace into the lives of devotees.

At our temple, this auspicious Sapthaham is conducted every year in the month of January with great devotion and traditional rituals. Learned scholars recite and explain the divine stories, guiding devotees towards bhakti (devotion), dharma (righteousness), and inner peace.

Listening to the Bhagavatha Sapthaham is believed to:
Remove negative influences and past karmas
Bring peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth
Strengthen devotion and connection with the Divine
Bless families with harmony and well-being
Devotees gather in large numbers to immerse themselves in this divine experience, making it a spiritually enriching and culturally vibrant occasion.

Annadanam (Sacred Food Offering)

Annadanam is one of the most sacred forms of seva, where food is offered with devotion to all. At our temple, Annadanam is conducted on all Thursdays, the first Sunday of every month, and during the Mandala month.
Through this noble service, we ensure that every devotee receives prasadam, sharing the values of compassion, gratitude, and divine blessings.

Yogic & Vedic Practices

Yogic and Vedic practices form the spiritual foundation of our temple activities. Through regular yoga sessions and Vedic chanting, we aim to promote inner peace, mental clarity, and overall well-being.
These practices help devotees connect with divine energy, preserve ancient traditions, and lead a balanced and harmonious life.

Maholsavam (Annual Temple Festival)

The Maholsavam is the grand annual festival of our temple, celebrated with great devotion and traditional splendour. The festivities begin on the auspicious day of Makaram 1 with the sacred Kodiyettam (flag hoisting), marking the start of the ten-day celebrations.
During these ten days, the temple comes alive with a variety of spiritual and cultural programs, including special poojas, seeveli, vibrant vadya melam, the ceremonial pallivetta, and the sacred arattu. Traditional art forms like Thirunritham and the noble offering of annadanam are also integral parts of the celebration.
Maholsavam is a time when devotees gather in large numbers to seek divine blessings, experience the richness of temple traditions, and participate in this spiritually uplifting festival.
