The Temple
Divine Abode
Located in Azhiyoor, near Mahe Railway Station in Kozhikode district, Kerala, the temple is the sacred home of Chaturbahu Mahavishnu and Naga Raja, along with sub-deities Ganapathi, Ayyappan, and Durga Devi. Spread over two acres of lush greenery, it welcomes hundreds of devotees every day.
Rich Heritage
Once a thriving of Vedic learning and spiritual wisdom, the temple resonated with chants and rituals until around 1700 AD. Despite historical invasions and colonial challenges, the sacred spirit of the temple continues to inspire devotion.
Management & Legacy
The Koyima Madom Illam (AKMI Mahavishnu Devaswam Trust) manages the temple. Descendants of the Brahmins brought by Lord Parasurama, revered ancestors include Sri Sankaran Namboodiri, Sri Unni Kunghan Namboodiri, Sri Vasudevan enna Krishnan Namboodiri, and Sri Govindan Namboodiri. The temple is presently overseen by Sri Narayanan Namboodiri.
Accessibility

The Divine Form
Chaturbahu Mahavishnu, the all-glorious and omnipresent Lord, blesses devotees in His complete divine form.
